We are currently seeking an Account Director


We are seeking a client services professional who is experienced in managing clients across a variety of channels. This individual will be a key leader in Bolin’s efforts to grow our accounts by building trusting relationships, diving into their business, and helping to foster the agency work within brand and design. We are looking for someone who not only believes in our core values but lives them in their daily lives. Someone who can think on their feet, problem solve thoughtfully, and keep an open mind.


The Account Director is responsible for relationships between Bolin and its clients. This includes identifying client objectives, communicating those objectives to the internal team, contributing to the formulation of solutions, and ensuring those solutions are implemented flawlessly. The Account Director is the primary Bolin representative for the client and must maintain a highly responsive service orientation. This person is also responsible for client financial management and must focus on delivering profitable client revenue for the agency.



  • Client’s voice to the Bolin team – ensures that our team is informed of client decisions and discussions that can impact them
  • Bolin voice to the client – advocates on behalf of Bolin and a key contributor to selling Bolin’s solutions
  • Leads implementation of projects and is a significant contributor to the determination of client strategies and solutions
  • Contributes to the formulation of client/account growth plans
  • Write and distributes project and creative briefs
  • Write and distributes project SOWs/estimates and change orders
  • Prepares and understands the importance of timelines and scope for project management
  • Actively participates in internal project reviews providing strategic guidance while representing the client’s voice.
  • Gains formal client approvals at decision points. Documents client approval of final deliverables.
  • Communicates progress of revenue versus budget/forecast to the Bolin leadership team throughout the year
  • Onboarding and new client relationships
  • Comfortable with various levels of client leadership (from Managers to C-suite)
  • Comfortable with new business prospects and qualifying clients
  • High EQ and ability to guide and read a room (or zoom)
  • Excellent presentation, writing, and communication skills
  • Effective negotiation and conflict management skills
  • A minimum of 6-8 years of professional account management experience, preferably in an advertising / marketing agency environment
  • Experience managing project planning and implementation across a diverse range of marketing channels and tactics, including brand strategy, integrated advertising, video/film production, design, social media, and campaign development.
  • Experience assembling and managing project budgets and timelines
  • Experience with risk management, change management, communications management
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft office and cloudbased OS platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
