Taking Donuts From North Dakota

Baker Boy supplies premium bakery products to stores and partners all over the country. To extend their offering, they purchased a small ma-and-pa donut store and approached Bolin for help in making the most of their investment.

From Old to New

Taking Baker Boy through our Distil process, we identified a brand archetype appropriate for its new offering and began to make. Pulling visual cues from yesteryear, we crafted mood boards and then sketches that brought The Donut Hole to life in a completely new way.

National Donut Distribution

Mashing retro influences with modern design aesthetics, we took something dated and stale, and turned it into something tasty and fresh (pun obviously intended). The Donut Hole can now be seen in hospitals, convenience stores and schools all over the country.
